Kerzner International has signed deals to operate two new Siro recovery hotels in Mexico and Saudi Arabia, following the launch of the inaugural Siro property in Dubai this February.
Designed to offer guests a holistic fitness and recovery experience, Siro’s destination hotels support guests to unlock their mental and physical potential through five key pillars: fitness, nutrition, sleep, recovery and mindfulness.
Health and wellbeing are a part of every step of the customer journey including access to extensive fitness and recovery facilities, nutritious F&B options and sanctuary-like guestrooms designed to promote recovery.
The destinations in Riyadh and Los Cabos will join the recently opened
Siro One Za’abeel in Dubai, and the forthcoming Siro Boka Place in Montenegro, set to open in Q4 2024.
Grand plansKerzner wants to roll the Siro concept out worldwide and envisions
opening at least 100 Siro-branded hotels, according to Zoe Wall, vice president Siro and wellness at Kerzner.
“Siro encapsulates the dynamic spirit of innovation that has been at the heart of Kerzner’s culture for more than 30 years of disrupting the hospitality sector,” said Philippe Zuber, CEO of Kerzner.
“It is a direct response to the societal shift in attitudes towards sports and wellness and was designed to be a rapid-growth challenger brand that enables Kerzner to expand our global footprint in the world’s most vibrant cities.
“The subsequent excitement we’re seeing among investors and developers is a testament to the market demand for this revolutionary new concept.”
Siro heads to MexicoSet to open in 2027 and developed by Fortem Capital, Siro Palmilla will be located in Los Cabos, on the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula.
Comprised of 120 keys and a cluster of Siro branded residences – 14 of which will be standalone villas, the site is part of a new masterplan development called Palmilla Reserve.
Located near One&Only Palmilla, a flagship property of the One&Only portfolio (also run and operated by Kerzner) and situated on a hillside overlooking the Palmilla Golf Club, the development offers sweeping views of the golf course, ocean and surrounding hills.
Saudi Arabian debutLocated in the city's business and residential district of Olaya, Siro Olaya Riyadh is forecast to open in 2028 and is being developed by 80 Real Estate Company.
