The study by Professor Stephen Blair from the Cooper Institute in Dallas, monitored 30,000 adults aged 20 to 80 and found that slim, unfit people have a death rate double that of obese people who exercise regularly. Inactivity is the key problem rather than obesity itself, Blair told a London conference earlier this month.
