A wellness facility is to open at Amanfayun resort in Hangzhou, China, in March 2010 as part of Amanresorts' latest development.
Consisting of five separate houses, totalling a combined area of 4,000sq ft (1,198sq m), the spa will be located in a space that once housed local tea farmers.
With clay tiled roofs, mud and grass exterior walls and tiled floors, the new facility focuses on a rustic, traditional feel and includes a bathouse, movement studio, juice bar and treatment rooms.
Amanfayun itself borders a neighbouring Yongfu Temple. Details: amanresorts.com
